English hop character comes off wonderfully. For a beer of 56 IBUs it's very balanced.

Actually, this is just a potential recipe. I was thinking of making it for my pirate friends who as a whole tend to like malty, simple, drinkable beers. Besides, with 20 IBU for a wheat beer I would want to add a bit of caramel malt.

How did this recipe turn out? I am curious as I am using Crystal 20L in one of my wheat ales. Was 12% of the malt bill to much for the crystal 20? Was it a sweet beer?
