just bottled, turned out great, absolutely delicious.

Brewing went well except for the hops. Because of the shortage i was forced to use Galena for bittering, and Cascade for aroma. although, supposedly the real recipe uses warrior hops instead of columbus anyways, so i only bastardized it some more. (10/04/08)

Hey, i made a 5 gallon version of this recently and it turned out great. It was simple and i did not use cherry or chocolate, but we all agree, it taste really good. thanks for the inspiration and template. if you want to check it out, check out my october imperial stout, thats the one.
