mostly carbed now. Very clear. v thin watery body, slight crisp tartness - presumably character of the yeast. Still digging the Galena flavour; shall have to use this hop for something more hop-focused sometime. Light munich character, not quite enough to add satisfactory character to the beer, and the rice didn't seem to add much of anything. Perhaps a very slight fragrant nuttiness. Thin head, with great retention and lots of lace. Presumably also from the rice. I suppose this rice one is really more of a cream ale at this point than a specialty beer. Maybe I'll make some more some time, this was really rather enjoyable and refreshing, even if a little lacking character. Still haven't bottled the spud ale, but I shall as soon as I find a free hour

Not as 'fresh-hoppy' as it was, but very clear now. Still has a big, dense, clingy head and a lot more bitterness than a .57 BU:GU ratio suggests. Still one of my favs, will brew this again.

Bottled the jasmine yesterday. The spud ale was still hazy (they've both been chilling at about 35F for a couple weeks). The Galena's are very earthy/woodsy. Remind me a lot of certain UK varieties, especially fuggles.
