I brewed this clone a month or so ago. My OG and SG were spot on; ended up with a coppery color to the brew. Fermentation in the primary took 5 days, racked to a secondary for another 5 days. I dry hopped in the primary, none in the secondary. The hops are pretty much right on the money. Next time I'll dry hop in both the primary and secondary as some of the aroma was lost in the secondary. This clone isn't as malty as the real Total Domination (the malt/hop balance is more equivalent to New Belgium's Ranger IPA). Next time I'll use 1 pound of Carahell instead of 6oz and might also bump up the DME by half a pound. This recipe calls for Irish Moss which really helps the beer clear up. However, Total Domination is a very hazy beer, therefore I don't think the Irish Moss is necessary for a good clone.

Hey Folks, I love that IPA and am excited to see how this comes out. I'm new to homebrewing, so please forgive this question: In this recipe, are the American Munich and the Weyerman CaraHell also extracts, or are they the grains that need to be steeped before the Light DME is boiled? Thanks!
