Pow, 'rye in the kisser!

I'm aiming for a spicy rye hybrid pale ale. I'll be adding caraway and white pepper at primary to add more rye flavor and give a linger with a slight kick.

tasting notes

Way too peppery and definitely not enough rye or hops. Next time, double the hops, cut the white pepper down to a quarter oz., probably add an eighth oz. or less of crushed black peppercorns to primary. The caraway seed imparted a nice aroma, but no flavor to the final brew.
